Marsha Peruo

Marsha Peruo’s primary artistic concerns are with the relationship between colors and shades, and with the balance of shapes and lines on the picture plane. She works two-dimensionally in acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils, ink, and a variety of printmaking techniques. She enjoys combining different media in one picture so that the process is more challenging and the result is a unique visual statement. Her work ranges from miniature to wall size – from realistic to abstract. Her newest endeavor is photography.

Marsha has shown her paintings, drawings and prints in more than 75 exhibitions. Her works are in many private collections throughout the country. She is a long-time member of Gallery35, and also a member of West Side Arts Coalition and New York Artists Equity Association. She received an MFA from Pratt Institute and a BA from Queens College, CUNY.
