Gallery35 was pleased to present a solo art exhibit by John Devaney—a Murray Hill resident—who became an exhibiting member of the gallery in 2014
John Devaney has been exhibiting his cityscapes painted during his past 8 years of living in midtown Manhattan—parks, buildings, rooftops, and the flow of humanity surging through them. In a manner described as “Dickensian,” he reports on the endless changing shapes of people and their environments in a city half recognizable and half imagined.
